Journal Entry # 12 (Apr 6-12): Further Scenario Dialogue

Here is a further conversation between the disgruntled customer at Denny’s and the manager.

I think there’s a mistake in this bill.

What?

There must be some mistake.  That’s not what I ordered.

What did you order?

I didn’t have ramen, I had a hamburger.

I’m sorry.  You still must pay for the hamburger.

Alright, I’ll pay.  But can you recommend a good restaurant around here?

In conclusion: Customer still has to pay full price for the hamburger, so he relectantly agrees but expresses his disgrattitude.

This is a nice entry, Ckayton. You can use these expressions when you actually encounter the situation. I will correct your small mistakes. Don’t take them seriously. Your sentences are fine. Makes sense.

(わ should be は, because it is a ‘particle’.)

It is very ridiculous situation, isn’t it? Why didn’t this customer continue to negatiate with the store manager? If you were the customer, would you pay for it?
